Module Asset Library

DAM included in your PIM, not bolted on

Asset Library is the media management module of PixeePIM. Centralize images, videos and technical documents, generate channel-specific crops automatically, and tag with AI Vision — all inside the PIM you already use to manage product data.

What’s in the DAM module

Asset Library

Browse, upload, organize and tag all your product media — images, videos, technical PDFs — directly inside the PIM. Search by tag, brand, supplier, or product. No separate DAM tool to manage.

Focal crop & on-the-fly resize

Set the focal point of each image once. PixeePIM generates crops adapted to each platform (Shopify, Amazon, Mirakl) without losing the subject. Resize on-the-fly with cache for fast delivery.

9 platform presets

Pre-configured WebP/AVIF outputs for Shopify, WooCommerce, Magento, Amazon SP-API, Mirakl, BigCommerce, Google Merchant, social media, and email. One asset → all the right formats automatically.

Watermark & overlays

Protect your visuals with configurable watermarks (logo, text, opacity, position). Apply by rules (brand, supplier, channel) so your distributor-only images never leak to public marketplaces.

AI auto-tagging (GPT-4o Vision)

Analyze each uploaded image and auto-generate tags (product type, color, material, packaging, model present). Speeds up cataloging and improves search relevance — BYOK on your own OpenAI key.

Multi-variant media

Attach images per product variant (size/color), per supplier, or per channel. The right image appears on the right listing automatically, no manual assignment.

Why PixeePIM has a DAM built-in (instead of a separate tool)

For distributors and importers, media live and die with product data. The image is just one of many product attributes — same lifecycle as the title, the description, the technical sheet. Splitting them into two tools (PIM + DAM) creates synchronization headaches: which one is the source of truth? Who updates what? How do you keep them in sync when an asset gets renamed or a product gets deactivated?

A separate DAM is justified when media are first-class objects independent of products — typically for marketing or brand teams managing thousands of campaign assets, video archives, or stock photography. For B2B catalog teams managing supplier images, technical sheets and channel-specific crops, an integrated DAM is faster, cheaper, and removes the sync problem entirely.

That's why PixeePIM ships with Asset Library natively, included in every paid plan — no separate DAM license, no separate integration to maintain.

Asset Library is included in every paid plan

No separate DAM license. No add-on. From Starter (€490/month) to Enterprise — full media management is part of PixeePIM.
